Turning clay into art

Kingfisher pottery is a small one potter studio in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. The name came from the amazing bird life we have around us and the kingfishers who love to visit.

Each piece of pottery is individually handcrafted with care turning clay into pieces of art that you can love and share.

I love the individual nature of handcrafted pottery where no two things look exactly the same and the individual brush strokes and impressions from the artist’s hands, are all signs of the love and care that has gone into each piece.

It is always wonderful to be able to create something like a bunch of flowers or a Christmas bauble that can be given as a gift and shape unique and lasting memories for someone special in your life.
